What’s our Summer Internship all about?

At Lantmännen, you’ll get a close-up view of how we keep our entire operation moving – from field to fork (and everything in between!). With our unique breadth, we can offer opportunities in various fields. Whether you’re interested in exploring agriculture, food, energy, or real estate, you’ll become part of a company with operations across the value chain, while gaining valuable experience for your future career.

What does a summer at Lantmännen look like?

You’ll join one of our talented teams, either within our businesses – Agriculture, Food, Energy, Swecon, or Real Estate – or a central function. With the support of your mentor, you’ll take on a project that makes a real impact, from market analysis to exploring potential growth areas in our operations to something else.

During your time with us, you’ll grow through hands-on experience, by taking responsibility and contribute. We are eager to learn from you and together we shape the road ahead!

You have:

  • At least two semesters left of your bachelor's or master’s program
  • Possibility to work for 5-8 weeks during the summer months
  • A genuine interest in Lantmännen and our dynamic business
  • An open mindset and willing to both give and recieve feedback
  • Proficiency in English – both written and spoken
  • For some of our summer internships, you need to be fluent in swedish - both written and spoken

You are:

  • Curious and open to learn more about our journey from field to fork (and everything in between)
  • A natural collaborator and communicator
  • Business minded and excited about working in a global, diverse company
  • Result oriented and ready to think outside the box to reach your goals
  • Someone who loves finding ways to make things better – we want your energy!

Practical information:

  • Duration: 5-8 weeks between June and August
  • Location: Most likely in Stockholm, Östergötland, Malmö, and Mälardalen. When applying you will mark which locations that are possible for you.
  • Salary: Of course. Competitive compensation is guaranteed.
  • We primarily look for students in Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT/Tech, and Agronomy.

Former projects:

  • Agriculture sector: Market analysis and quality testing (yes, grain details included!)
  • RnD: Consumer analysis on health trends and risk assessments
  • Energy sector: Evaluation of biofuel products and starches (our breadth of businesses and products is quite unique)
  • Food sector: Digital solutions in e-commerce and productivity studies in oat production (for all you breakfast enthusiasts!)
